I accept current, government-issued photo identification, such as a driver's license, state-issued ID card, passport, or military ID. Your identification must be valid and unexpired.

Yes. Appointments ensure I can provide you with the time and attention your notarization deserves. Contact me to schedule a convenient time for either an in-person or remote online appointment.

For in-person appointments, please bring:
A valid government-issued photo ID
The document(s) to be notarized
All required signers
Any required witnesses (if your document requires them)
Unsigned documents (unless you've been instructed otherwise)
For remote online notarizations, you'll also need:
A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone
A reliable internet connection
The ability to complete the required identity verification process

In most cases, no. Documents should be signed in my presence, whether we're meeting in person or through a secure online video session.

No. As a Virginia Notary Public, I cannot provide legal advice, prepare legal documents, or determine which notarial act is appropriate. If you're uncertain, the person or organization requesting the notarization should be able to advise you.

Remote Online Notarization allows eligible documents to be notarized through a secure live video appointment. You'll verify your identity electronically, sign your document online, and receive your notarized document electronically—all without meeting in person.

Yes. Virginia law authorizes commissioned Remote Online Notaries to perform eligible notarizations using approved technology and identity verification procedures. Documents notarized remotely have the same legal validity as those notarized in person when all legal requirements are met.

In many cases, yes. As a Virginia Remote Online Notary, I may be able to notarize your document even if you're located outside Virginia, provided the notarization complies with Virginia law and the document is eligible. If you're unsure, contact me before scheduling your appointment.

Most appointments take between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the number of documents and the type of notarization.

Some documents require one or more witnesses in addition to a notary. Unless we've made arrangements in advance, you'll be responsible for providing any required witnesses

I accept payment by cash, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

Yes! I provide mobile notary services within my service area. I'll come to your home, office, hospital, assisted living facility, or another mutually agreed-upon location. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.

Virginia law establishes the maximum fees a notary public may charge for notarial acts. I believe in transparent pricing, so you’ll always know what to expect before your appointment.
Service: In-Person Notarization
Fee: Up to $10 per notarial act
Service: Remote Online Notarization (RON)
Fee: Up to $25 per notarial act
Service: Mobile Travel
Fee: Starting at $XX (based on travel distance and location)
Service: Additional Travel Time
Fee: Quoted in advance, if applicable
Travel fees will always be discussed and agreed upon before your appointment.
